Ciro Avolio has developed his career in the context of European R+D+i for more than 10 years, among the Europe Point of Forli (Italy), the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Health Consortium of Terrassa as Projects promoter and the Leitat Technology Centre as Coordinator of the European Projects Office.

He has participated in the presentation of hundreds of project proposals in different European and International funding programs, including H2020, FP7, CIP, LIFE+ and ENPI, among others, and in the management of more than 80 projects.

He has a Degree in Political and Diplomatic Sciences, a Master in Environment, Development and Policy at the University of Sussex, UK, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainability at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

He collaborates regularly with both public and private international institutions, in the definition of projects in the fields of environment, eco -innovation, energy and renewable energy, education and international cooperation.
